A product certification guarantees that an organization or company works according to quality parameters stated in standards or protocols.

Do you know that there are 3 types of certification?

	First-party certification: The own organization declares to comply with a standard.
	Second-party certification: involves an assessment by an outside party, such as a trade association or vendor.
	Third-party certification: This certification is performed by an independent organization which acts in name of multiple customers. This type of certification reduces costs and time of multiple customers audits. Besides, it is a guarantee for consumers, as they do not have access to control those producing or providing the products.
