Those UTZ Certified farmers meet the internationally accepted UTZ Certified Code of Conduct for efficient and appropiate farm management.

UTZ Certified Code of Conduct assures responsible environmental and social management, workers security, basic workers rights and their access to health and education.

UTZ Certified is much more than a code because it provides technical assistance to contribute to an improved farm management and reduce production costs. This certification offers marketing tools to communicate directly with buyers. In that way, it helps the contact between responsible farmers with responsible buyers.

OIA is approved by UTZ Certified to carry out the annual inspections to ensure the compliance of the UTZ Certified Code of Conduct and Chain of Custody requirements.
