Third Annual Surveillance Audit of the Patagonian scallop Fishery (Zygochlamys patagonica)

Dear Sir/ Madame,

We wish to notify you that the result of the 3rd Annual Surveillance Audit of the Patagonian scallop fishery (Zygochlamys patagonica) has been accepted by the MSC and has been published on the OIA and MSC websites.

The Assessment Team consider, that during the third year of Certification, Glaciar Pesquera S.A. and the scientists involved in research on Patagonian scallop have considerable advanced information which is being now applied in the Fishery, allowing fulfillment of the Conditions set at the time of Certification, to be maintained on time.

OIA and the Assessment Team greatly appreciate the support given by various Stakeholders and Stakeholders Groups during the period of the Third Annual Surveillance Visit, including the scientific, technical and fishery experts involved in this fishery.
