Argentina and organic exports to Japan.
Argentine organic standards have been acknowledged as equivalent to the Japanese ones by the MAFF, which means that any product certified as organic by the Argentine standard will be able to enter directly to Japan with the sole presentation of the Argentine certificate, without a re-certification by a Japanese certifier, as was previously required.

OIA has been introduced to the Japanese government and approved by SENASA to issue certificates destined to Japan.

This announcement is in force from December 12th, 2006.
